Trusted by the leading and top Telecom Carriers in North America

The market leader for multiport antennas

Wireless communication technology is constantly evolving with greater data needs of the world, and it is the job of Quintel Solutions to evolve along with it. The company’s base station and multiport antennas are the product of that evolution.

Quintel’s niche of multiport antennas took shape in 2007 from their use of disruptive technology - one that was originally shared and powered by QinetiQ, a UK government research agency. Emerging opportunities for mobile radio networks across the globe showed the need for more accessible antennas as an essential component. Quintel further drove improvements in the original technology and eventually supplied multi-port, multi-tilt, and multi-band antennas for the US telecom market.

Quintel prides itself in being a top quality brand in the global antenna market, and is proud to have the lowest return rates in the US market (0.3% field failure returns).

Key Features

Technology

Another example of innovation which we have added to many of our antennas is a solution which aims to enhance coverage and reduce External PIM interference when antennas have to be set back from the rooftop edge on rooftop sites

Our patented Top-Heavy RF distribution network generates a regular Far Field radiation pattern in the elevation plane, but when the near field is considered the technique ensures that slightly less diffractive losses are suffered when propagating over a rooftop edge environment. Depending upon the geometry and location of the antennas, we have demonstrated up to 3dB coverage depth improvement on the ground.

Quintel is recognized as an innovator and thought leader in the US market. Our product features embody various Intellectual Property (IP) which is protected through numerous granted and pending patents. Our minimal frontal wind-loading, optimized radiation patterns, improved coverage from rooftop deployments and PIM mitigation configurations are all examples of innovations we have brought to market. We also strive to provide our customers value-added support whenever we can.

Our recently launched Dual-Diplexed Antennas allow operators to connect Multi-Band Low-Band Radios and provide independent tilt for each Band. For example, these products are very popular for sites deployed near to spectrum license boundaries as illustrated below. However, we feel these antennas offer a real difference as they provide the tilt freedoms to allow operators to optimize each traffic layer independently thus maximizing spectral and coverage efficiency. For example, a 700MHz layer may be fully loaded with LTE and needs to be optimized for inter-cell interference, whilst 5G/NR carried on an 850 layer is much less loaded and can be optimized more for coverage.

Our Antenna with split elevation beam pattern is uniquely designed to be deployed into certain environments, especially urban areas to optimize for spectral efficiency. The antenna should be deployed below the roofline and develops an elevation beam pattern which directs RF power downwards to serve regular street level traffic, and upwards to serve traffic in high rise buildings who would otherwise have to be served by non-dominant cells. However, the most important feature of this antenna is the elevation null formed at the horizon which ensures a minimum inter-cell interference component from and to the wider Macro network.

Base Station Antennas

While telecommunication can be wireless, it cannot be limitless. With that in mind, we design our antennas to enhance spectral efficiency without compromising the industry-preferred coverage. More importantly, they are able to quickly work around one of telecom’s biggest problems: interference.

PIM Tool

Our products are made more powerful with our PIM Simulation and Analysis Tool utility. We recognize the risks that can arise from constantly innovating and re-engineering our products. This software package is able to resolve these at the granular level, allowing us to make informed decisions for strategic, tactical, and troubleshooting purposes.

After our condo association decided against installing solar, we turned to BlueWave for another option. Their application was painless, and now we support clean energy and save money at the same time! We have already recommended BlueWave to family and friends.
